AFTERCARE AFTER PROFESSIONAL AESTHETIC SKIN TREATMENTS
Dr Ria Smit provides a summary of general guidelines that will apply for all treatments that will be done by an Aesthetic Therapist.

When you come for your treatment I or your Aesthetic therapist will discuss specific guidelines that pertain to the treatment you will have as well as your specific skin type and concerns.
The following however, will apply no matter which treatment you decide to undergo.
Use medical-grade sunscreen daily. A sunscreen that will not only protect your skin against UVA and UVB rays but also against pollution, ozone, heat radiation and white light.
Use a good moisturizer daily – especially in the first 3 sensitive days after treatment.
We will provide you with an appropriate exfoliant that can be used on day 3 or 4 after treatment.
Please remember to inform us if you are prone to developing cold sores that we may send you home with the necessary preventative care.
